Job Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : The speech/language clinician is responsible for the timely implementation of special education service to students with disabilities as described in PL-105-17, the Individual with Disabilities Education Act. The speech/language clinician is responsible for delivering services in accordance with the Special Education Regulations (Chapter 101) and the MSAD No. 75 Special Education Policy and Procedure Manual. This particular position is focused on the comprehensive communication needs of students with a variety of disabilities. Individual Assessment - Demonstrate competence in the selection, administration and interpretation of formal and informal techniques, tests, instruments, protocols and observation schemes to screen, evaluate and assess a student's speech and language functioning.
