Glassboro Public Schools is currently seeking a Vice Principal at our High School for the 2 School Year. This position begins approximately March 1, 2020. The Vice Principal assists the building principal in organizing and fostering a positive, safe environment that is conducive to best meeting the needs of all students, staff and parents. This includes such responsibilities as: leading, directing, counseling, and supervising a variety of personnel and programs; creating effective parent, teacher, and child communications; supporting, encouraging, mentoring, and evaluating staff; fostering teamwork between teachers and among staff and parents; and managing budget items. The vice principal acts in the capacity of the principal during the principal's absence from the school. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree State of NJ Certification (0200 - Principal and/or 0101 - School Administrator) Required Administrative experience preferred Instructional Strong Leadership and Organizational Skills Experience working with Instructional PLC's (Professional Learning Community) that are grounded in research Experience with Scheduling/Data Analysis and effective implementation of Code of Conduct Strong background in NJSLS Assessments Knowledge and implementation of Social Emotional Learning Concepts imbedded in instruction Knowledge and experience in University High School Partnerships Secondary teaching experience Experience in diverse cultural community Successful Completion of a Background Check Glassboro Public Schools is also hiring for: High School TV Technology Teacher Special Education Aides Preschool Aides Bus Drivers Transportation Aides recblid yl8zfrcpxrfhj889x16laav6tv6k06
