Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Special Services, a Behavior Coach would assist individual teachers, buildings, and district systems in the application of positive behavior interventions, specifically Tier III interventions. The Behavior Coach would educate, model, and coach staff in implementing best practices in behavioral support within a multi-tiered system of support. Description: Provide leadership and support to mental health needs across the district through inter-agency connections, gathering and disseminating research and resources, providing staff training and assisting families in connecting with appropriate agencies at a Tier III support level Work collaboratively with district administration to lead professional development for individual teachers, groups of teachers and/or the entire staff on areas related to teaching and supporting positive behaviors.
