Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION Exceptional Children Teacher Position Code: Department: FLSA: Exempt Reports To: Principal Supervises: N/A Job Summary: To create learning experiences that make subject matter meaningful for Exceptional Children. Essential Functions: Implement and follow state regulation guidelines in student initial referral process. Summarize psychological/educational evaluation and cooperatively create Individualized Education Plan goals at IEP Team conference. Coordinate and inform IEP Team members of weekly CARE team meetings. Maintain individual student progress portfolios. Maintain accurate daily progress notes of each student's performance for assessment.
