The Mont Vernon Village School is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a School Social Worker / School Counselor. The ideal candidate would be a clinical social worker certified as a school counselor or school social worker. If a certification is not held, a Statement of Eligibility would be requried. They would have experience working with elementary aged students in individual and small group settings as well as whole classes. This educator will help to implement a social-emotional learning program including weekly guidance classes and counseling services to students with significant emotional needs. This individual will work closely with the school administrator, related service providers, special educators, para-educators, teachers, and parents to develop strategies and interventions to support students in need.
