JOB GOAL:To work in a substantially separate classroom with students identified with emotional disabilities PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Works with elementary students with emotional disabilities and supports in instructional and non-instructional settings. 2.Reinforce learning of materials or skills initially introduced by the classroom teacher. 3.Reinforce learning of social/emotional strategies introduced by the classroom teacher and school adjustment counselor and/or school psychologist and other related service providers, i.e. Speech & Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, etc. 3. Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about the student as is expected of a fully licensed teacher. 4. Perform related duties as directed by the building principal.
