JOB SUMMARYCommunications Officer; 1.00 FTE Plan, develop, organize, and direct a highly visible and comprehensive public relations program to enhance the Corporation's image to its wide variety of constituentsAdvise and plan public relation interests, concerns, and consequences related to programs of the CorporationWorking knowledge of latest software in media publication and distribution, with an understanding of layout typography, hierarchy, color theory, patterns, and design principles to distribute information to the Corporation and communityKnowledge of brand vision across all mediums; knowledge of productions for collateral; including, resolution, size, and file-type as well as scanning, pre-press, and print production to effectively communicate to the Corporation and communitySelf-initiator and timeline driven to complete projects that benefit the Corporation to relay the good work of students and staffEnsure all news releases, press conferences, and press kits are prepared for board meetings, work sessions, and hearings. Responsible for oversight of all polling of public opinion related to the CorporationMaintain digital and hard copy addresses to provide information to the community efficiently and effectivelyServes as a spokesperson for the Superintendent and represents the Corporation at community eventsCoordinates and provides research and data upon request for Corporation initiativesAdditional duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Degree required.
