Ednovate launched its first school, USC Hybrid High, a personalized learning high school, in 2012. Since then, Ednovate has grown to five schools and is on a trajectory to continue to grow over the next several years. Ednovate is committed to serving in areas where students traditionally lack access to a quality college prep education by building tuition-free, safe, and high-performing public schools to serve neighborhoods that need it the most. Ednovate is currently planning for our next growth phase as we continue to fulfill our mission to make a positive multigenerational change within the communities we serve and in our profession.
We are seeking a Director of Leadership to help create and lead our network's leadership development program. This individual reports to, and will work closely with the Chief of Schools to manage school principals and create the leadership development program for aspiring leaders at Ednovate. This position will be based out of the Ednovate Support Team office in Los Angeles.
Potential Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leadership Development: Create Ednovate's Leadership Development Program for emerging internal leaders. This includes creating Ednovate's theory of leadership development, researching effective practices in adult learning and creating formal programming to address the needs of Ednovate's emerging leaders, and exploring and implementing effective practices in creating a leadership pipeline, ensuring Ednovate has 75 successful mid-level, school-based leaders leaders by 2025.
Principal Management: Coach and develop first year Principal Residents and Principals early in their tenure to achieve strong achievement, including: proficiency on all rows of Ednovate's Principal Path to Excellence, meeting Ednovate's strategic plan goal of 80% of students meeting all Annual College Readiness Indicators (ACRIs), and achieving their school-based strategic plan goals. Additionally, work with the Chief of Schools to foster an environment for growth, learning and collaboration among the Principals Team that results in each school meeting Ednovate's strategic plan goals.
