Job Description

What do you do all day?

At NMSI, our people mean everything to us, they are the lifeblood of the organization. Without our staff, NMSI is just an idea. As a member of the Data and Analytics team, the coordinator will play a key role in supporting teams across the organization to have the data they need to evaluate pilots and programs, make data-driven decisions and improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.  Specifically, the Data and Analytics Coordinator will support critical workstreams like survey development and deployment, fulfillment and routing of data requests, managing data collection of AP outcomes data, and developing reports and dashboards that enable critical access to data.  The Coordinator, Data and Analytics reports to the Director, Data and Analytics.  This full-time role is based in Dallas.

 

What are the details?

  • Build and deploy external surveys for the organization using Qualtrics
  • Support the data collection process for AP outcomes data with our partner schools
  • Triage data requests to the appropriate Data and Analytics team member for action and support with data requests when capacity allows
  • Build and deploy Data and Analytics tools (reports, dashboards, etc.)
  • Test reports, dashboards and other Data and Analytics tools prior to release
  • Model inclusive behaviors and embrace all dimensions of diversity in the organization
  • Other duties as assigned

What are we looking for?

  • Education & Experience – You have a bachelor’s degree and have worked in a professional capacity for at least two years related experience or strong internship experience that exhibited related skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; experience working with Qualtrics, PowerBI, SQL, or R platforms a plus.
  • Determined – You have an insatiable appetite for data and process improvement; if data exist, you’ll find a way to get the data to our people in the way it is most strategically useful.
