About DRW College Prep

DRW College Prep is a public, 4-year charter high school located in the North Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago’s west side. DRW College Prep was named for the generosity of the DRW Trading Group Foundation, and its founder, Don R. Wilson. DRW College Prep has been awarded several grants to continue our hard work in the North Lawndale and Homan communities. We graduate 100% of our seniors, sending them off to college with a considerable amount of scholarships, financial aid, and a Google Chromebook! Our students engage in a rigorous, four-year college preparatory curriculum preparing them for college success. We proudly offer more math, science, and history courses as well as more instructional time than most neighborhood schools on the west side of Chicago. We strive for excellence and equitable outcomes for our Black and Brown children boldly: building a school that affirms our children as humans and empowers them with the habits and skills necessary to break barriers and lead exemplary lives.
