Position:

Full-time (1.0) Licensed Teacher - General Music

Function:

This position will involve split time between 2 elementary schools teaching general classroom music K-5. Recorders are part of the 4th grade curriculum at each school. Duties include, but are not limited to, creating and presenting a holiday program in December at each school, as well as participate in district spring band (4th grade recorders) and choral festivals. Klamath Falls City Schools offers a comprehensive music program to our students, including vocal K-12, and instrumental music grades 5-12 both band and orchestra.

Requirements:

Hold or qualify for an Oregon teaching license through Teacher Standards and Practices Commission with an music endorsement.

SALARY:

Salaries are currently being negotiated. The rate is based on the 2021-2022 salary table is $43,727.96 - $81,167.30
