Job Description

Lynn Public Schools has two openings for a licensed Plumbing Teacher at Lynn Vocational Technical Institute for the 2021-2022 school year.

Candidates for this position must be DESE certified as a Chapter 74 Instructor or certifiable. Candidates must be familiar with newly adopted DESE CVTE related curriculum frameworks. Five years of recent (within the last seven years), full-time employment experience directly related to plumbing is required.

Possession of current MA Journeyman Plumber license required. Possession of current MA Master Plumber license required. High School/Trade School degree preferred.

Location Description

The Lynn School Department is made up of one early childhood center, eighteen elementary schools, three middle schools, two comprehensive high schools, a vocational high school and an alternative junior/senior high school. It employs approximately 2,000 employees, including administrators, teachers, clerical, health,fand food service staff. It provides Special Education and English Language Learner Education programs.
