Implement and follow lesson plans provided by Special Education and classroom teachers
Assist with providing classroom accomodations and modifications
Support students' social skills within the school setting
Encourage and promote students' independence
Assist with implementation of behavioral supports and behavior plan
Provide individual and small group academic instruction through ABA and discrete trials
Assist students with independent daily living skills including toilet training

Broad Brook Elementary School

The Broad Brook School has nearly six hundred students in grades Pre-K through 4, as well as providing support for the town Family Resource Center, summer school programs, and daycare (through FRC). The Broad Brook Elementary student population enjoys small class sizes and a comprehensive array of "specials" programs. Job Requirements
  • Prior experience working with elementary students with autism and/or communication delays
    Bachelor degree preferred
    Prior experience with discrete trials and applied behavioral analysis
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
