OPPORTUNITY
Green Dot Public Schools National is seeking a mission-driven Recruiter with a strong background in cultivating and selecting high-quality, mission-aligned leaders and support staff to join Green Dot. The Recruiter will be part of a team focused on cultivating and growing Green Dot National's human capital model.The ideal candidate has proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment and is a self-starter with strong attention to detail. In addition, the Recruiter must be a self-directed problem solver, enjoy being part of a collaborative team and thrive in collecting and analyzing data to meet ambitious goals. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for attracting and converting candidates to Green Dot through campaign development, relationship management, hosting and driving attendance for recruitment events, and other high-yield recruitment strategies, working closely in conjunction with regional Human Capital and leadership teamsCoordinate with Green Dot's Communications department in developing and implementing strategies to attract a diverse talent pool and various school and regional personnel at a local and national levels through targeted marketing plans, including but not limited to recruitment collateral that are compelling and effectively represent Green Dot's culture and values
Utilize outside the box recruiting techniques to source candidates through various in-person networking events inclusive and beyond recruitment fairs, visiting college campuses, etc.
Develop partnerships, focusing on grow-your-own programs, retention initiatives, and identifying long-term talent development opportunities
Assist in miscellaneous people projects such as reviewing, editing, and posting job ads, attending job fairs, hosting events, and other administrative tasks
Post openings to appropriate Internet sources; research new ways to use the internet for recruiting; use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates

Manage candidate selection process from initial screens through final interviewsMeticulously update Green Dot's applicant tracking systems throughout the entire recruitment life cycle (editing and posting job descriptions, setting up system processes, candidate workflows, email communications, and follow-ups)
Work closely with team members to continuously deliver a streamlined experience for both the candidate and hiring manager
Field emails, phone calls and other inquiries regarding how to apply, process and timeline, and any other candidate questions
Screen initial applicants including resume reviews and evaluate if they meet position requirements (i.e. certification requirements).
Schedule phone, video and onsite interviews with candidates
Follow up with interviewers for feedback and schedule debriefs
Coordinate with regional and school leaders in the preparation and scheduling of candidates past the initial screen
Utilize expertise to provide support and training to regional leaders, leveraging and sharing best practices as appropriate

Identify and track evaluation metrics to measure recruitment and hiring achievements, including diversity and retention metrics, to help refine processes and the candidate experienceContinuously evaluate and refine recruitment and selection model and implement changes that produce efficient results of bringing in top talent from across the country
Design candidate experience surveys and analyze feedback
Conduct new hire follow-up meetings are regular intervals
Complete internal reports and participate in various projects as/when required

As a member of the People Team, work to optimize the employee experience, including but not limited to candidate pre-hire experience for clarity and efficiency through the hiring process (i.e. certification, background checks, benefits, etc.), benefits selections, job changes, and terminations
Must have reliable transportation as you are expected to be in Beaumont, Texas a minimum of once per week with reasonable travel expected for recruitment within the Southeast Texas area or broader (job fairs, candidate cultivation meetings, hiring events, etc.).
Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION:
At least 2 years of work experience in an urban school setting preferred (teaching experience highly preferred)
1+ years of professional working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, as well as emerging social platforms, preferred
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent eye for design, layout, and typography
Demonstrates high levels of time management, organization, prioritization, and follow-up/follow-through skills
Effective problem-solving, critical thinking and ability to clearly present information to individuals and groups
Natural and effective teamwork orientation with the ability to work with and gain the trust of personnel at all levels within an organization
Strong project management and facilitation skills involving complex workstreams and multiple stakeholders
Ability to develop and implement internal systems and processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency across multiple functions
Detail-oriented, efficient, and accurate
Comfortable with ambiguity with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
Must possess strong computer literacy skills, including but not limited to a proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and apply effective change management strategies to navigate the culture effectively
Ability to reflect, analyze data, and course correct as needed
