TITLE: Information Technology CoordinatorREPORTS TO: Superintendent
1.Criminal history check and fingerprinting as required by the school district.
2.Evidence of successful educational technology experience.
3.High-level communication skills.
4.Ability to relate to general public, teachers, administrators, and board.
5.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the District may find appropriate and acceptable.
1.Acts ethically and confidentially in all aspects of employment.
2.Works collaboratively with the Superintendent and Principals on all matters.
3.Responsible for all computer systems, operations, network organization, and other applications.
4.Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software.
5.Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network operating system.
6.Connect and setup all hardware throughout the district.
7.Provide orientation and training to new users of existing technology.
8.Provide recommendations about information technology to Superintendent.
9.Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources throughout the school district.
10.Maintains a digital and public record of financial statements as directed by the business manager on the district website.
11.Maintains a digital and public record of School board policy, meetings, and minutes on the district website.
12.Works collaboratively with the school principals in development and maintenance of a district website.
13.Keeps abreast of changes and developments in educational technology, reading professional journals and other publications, and discussing problems of mutual interest with others in the field.
14.Performs other tasks as assigned by the Superintendent.
15.Employee eight hour day will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., consisting of a 30 minute lunch. Any and all other hours necessary to complete job description must be pre-approved by Superintendent.
1.Returns requests for information by the date and time specified.
2.Reviews and completes all technology request forms in a timely manner.
3.Attends all meetings as required, attends in a prompt manner, and remains throughout the meeting.
4.Arrives on time at 7:30 a.m., and works hours scheduled by supervisor.
5.Notifies the Superintendent in the event of illness or other reason for absence.
6.Completes tasks quickly and efficiently.
7.Meets deadlines as established by the Superintendent.
8.Promptly informs the Superintendent of problems needing attention.
Physical Requirement: In an eight-hour day, employee may: stand/walk 1-4 hours and or sit 3-5 hours. Employee may use hands for repetitive single grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation. Employee may need to bend, twist, squat, climb, and reach above shoulders occasionally. Employee may need to lift approximately 50 pounds with frequent lifting and or carrying of objects weighing 10-20 pounds.

Terms of Employment: The Notus School District Board of Trustees determines wage and benefits.
This position shall be considered in all aspects "employment at will". Neither the employment period nor any other description as to positions, duty, or assignment shall create a property right in the employment and such are set forth only to advise the employee of when and what type of services will be required by the district so long as the employment continues.
The employee/employment is at all times subject to the rules, regulations, and policies of the district as have been promulgated by the Notus Board of Trustees and each employee is held responsible for having knowledge of such rules, regulations, and policies.
Evaluation: Performance of this position will be evaluated each year by the Superintendent.
