Job Description

•Provides on-site, remote and phone support to multiple schools.
•Installs, configures and upgrades hardware, operating system software and application software.
•Pro-actively anticipates, pre-empts, diagnoses and solves hardware, network, and software problems.
•?Works with tech support colleagues, staff and students to match their needs with appropriate equipment and software.
•Maintains records of technical support requests and needs for various sites.
•Communicates with end users during the repair process.
•Communicates his or her schedule to Director of Technology including absences due to illness, training, etc.
•Communicates with tech. support colleagues about providing support to schools and for obtaining support from the colleagues as needed.
•Assists schools in the yearly planning and budgeting process for information technology by making informed recommendations.
•Coordinates school technology ordering, purchasing, budgeting and record tracking.
•Maintains software and hardware inventories for various sites, as necessary.
•Updates basic school web page links.
•Engages in professional learning and growth through courses, workshops, and independent study.
•Communicates and conducts self as a professional customer service representative.
•Performs other tasks or assumes other responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or his/her designee.

Job Requirements
  • •Excellent oral communication, written communication, time-management and organizational skills.
    •Positive, effective and professional customer service and relation skills with faculty, staff, and students.
    •?Ability to work with minimum supervision, and the ability to exhibit adaptability and flexibility.
    •?Pro-active attitude in anticipating, pre-empting, finding and solving problems.
    •A strong interest in education and its curricula.
    •Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds safely.
    Associates degree and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems preferred.
    Familiarity with troubleshooting laptop and desktop hardware, replacing internal hardware components
    Familiarity with Windows 8.1/10 and Apple iOS, LAN/WAN environments to include limited knowledge of Networking.
    Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, Office 65 integration
    Experience with wiring, wireless and VOIP preferred.
    Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012r2/2016/2019, Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Deployment Toolkit, SCCM and VMware a plus.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
