The Position

The Psych Services Team Assessment Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the psycho-educational assessment testing for students with outside providers. The Psych Services Team Assessment Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Associate Director of Social Emotional Learning who will provide weekly oversight, training and direction.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate scheduling assessment sessions for psycho-educational evaluations.
  • Collaborate with involved parties in the psycho-educational evaluation to ensure all parts of the evaluation are scheduled.
  • Coordinate will all parties and follow-up with needed parties in getting necessary documents returned for the evaluation.
  • Coordinate the psycho-educational evaluation session including, but not limited to: picking the student up from class, ensuring all needed supplies are ready, having hard-copy materials for the session, logging the child into the ‘therapy room’, stepping in to support if needed during testing, supervising breaks during testing if needed, scanning any used hard-copy forms to the outside contractor.
  • Assisting the Associate Director of Social Emotional Learning with related assessment needs.

  • Reliable transportation (traveling to/from different schools)

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally climb ladders.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
