Job Description

World Cultures Teacher - Middle School Killingly Public Schools is looking for a dynamic individual with an interest in teaching World Cultures at the Killingly Intermediate School. This course is designed to be a fun introduction to the world cultures that exist outside of our community. Topics include food, language, holidays, music, clothing, and specific traditions found within the culture. Certifications to teach this course include Social Studies 7-12 (026), middle school (006), and any World Language endorsement (7-12). Note: The Emergency Generalist, 7-12 (#202) would allow a certified educator who currently holds a Provisional or Professional teaching certificate to teach all content/subject areas in the 5-12 grade span, exclusive of special education and TESOL/bilingual endorsements, for the 2023-2024 school year at the request of the LEA/District. Currently, certified educators holding an academic 7-12 endorsement would be eligible for the #202. Currently certified PK-12 and middle grades (4-8) educators would be eligible for the #202.
