Southern Maine Administrative Collaborative is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Join the only SLP team in Maine serving primarily preschool children on-site at preschools, with little travel required and no case management. Professional development and ASHA dues reimbursed. Current positions available in public preschool and special purpose preschool settings in the Biddeford/Saco area, within 20 minutes from Portland. Checkout why we are a different experience Brief Job Duties: The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: 1. Assessing children's communication skills for the purpose of identifying communication disorders, determining program eligibility and developing recommendations for treatment. 2. Collaborating with a variety of groups and/or individuals for the purpose of communicating information, resolving issues and providing services in compliance with established guidelines. 3. Developing and implementing treatment plans, interventions and/or educational materials for the purpose of minimizing the adverse impact of communication disorders in compliance with regulatory requirements Certification/License: Valid Speech Pathologist license as issued by the Maine State Board of Examiners on Speech Pathology and Audiology. Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education Education Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience: Successful prior experience working with the appropriate grade levels is preferred, but not required.
