Hiring Process and Position Details

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout Fall 2020. The Pennsylvania Regional Market Lead reports to the Chief Growth Officer and will be a part of the New Markets Team, joining other regional leads of developing markets. They will work in partnership with the leadership of the firm to build a presence serving charter schools across the state of Pennsylvania. We are looking for someone to both identify and build relationships with prospective clients, as well as someone to serve in a client relationship role for acquired clients.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • EdOps Representative: Serve as primary representative of EdOps in Pennsylvania, leading efforts of the company to be an active and constructive participant in the local charter school community. 
  • Relationships: Identify and build relationships with local schools that could benefit from the suite of services that EdOps offers. 
  • Business Development: Lead EdOps’ formal business development efforts within the state of Pennsylvania, including presentations to prospective clients and preparation of formal client proposals. 
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the senior local client relationship point of contact for Pennsylvania schools served by EdOps.

Qualifications and Position Requirement

  • Relationships within Pennsylvania charter school community
  • 7+ years of work experience
  • Strong client communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work non-standard hours to attend charter community meetings, etc.
  • When safe to do so, ability to travel within Pennsylvania for day trips to meet with school leaders and charter organizations (up to 25%)

Overview

The Regional Market Lead receives a base salary of $75,000 plus 20% of first-year revenue for all new sales in PA. For example, if you sold an $80,000/year finance outsourcing contract with a new PA client, you would receive $16,000 in bonus payments related to that client. Bonus payments would be paid during the first year of work with that client and would be paid quarterly through payroll as the revenue comes in.
