Winton Woods City Schools is committed to ensuring that all students achieve their highest potential. As a New Tech Network district focused on project-based learning, our students learn through appropriate, challenging, authentic projects as they explore, adapt and engage the world around them. We are committed to this unique approach to learning which gives our students increased opportunities to be positive contributors, creative innovators and strong leaders in our community and in our world.

With the approval of our families and communities, Winton Woods City Schools has moved forward with new district facilities. This includes three campuses, a Pre-K campus will be located on the site of the former Winton Woods Intermediate School, a 1st - 6th grade elementary campus is located in Greenhills, and a 7th - 12th grade secondary campus on the current Winton Woods High School site in Forest Park. Both the elementary and secondary campuses have shared community spaces.

Winton Woods City Schools serves students and their families in the communities of Forest Park, Greenhills and Springfield Township and is an open enrollment district.

Both Winton Woods Intermediate School (grades 5-6) and Winton Woods Middle School (grades 7-8) are now New Tech Network schools, with a focus on project-based learning. The middle school offers math and foreign language classes for high school credit, advanced classes in science and language arts, elective engineering courses that introduce students to technology and robotics, and many sports and extra-curricular clubs. Our fifth and sixth grade building offers strong academics and a variety of fine arts options-band, orchestra, choir and visual arts, with many extra-curricular activities and clubs.

Winton Woods High School is fully accredited by Advanced Ed and is a full member of the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) High Schools That Work (HSTW) school improvement network. Every student on the main campus who is enrolled in College Prep, Honors or Advanced Placement courses is attached to the Academy of Global Studies (AGS) or the New Tech Academy (NTA).

The district offers 22 competitive varsity sports, as well as club sports opportunities that begin in elementary school. The district added crew (rowing) and lacrosse to its high school sports offerings. Chorus, band and orchestra are offered beginning in fifth grade, and all students in grades 1-6 participate in visual or performing arts courses. The district is recognized throughout the region for its outstanding music offerings and has earned regional, state and international honors for its choir, band, orchestra and art programs.
