Assistant Milieu Manager Pathways Academy (McLean Hospital- Belmont, MA) Pathways Academy is a year-round, therapeutic day school developed to meet the social, sensory, psychological, and educational needs of children and adolescents ages 6 through 22 with autism spectrum disorders. Responsibilities include: •Assist Milieu Manager and Director to monitor the milieu on an ongoing basis in order to prevent crisis situations. •Assist Milieu Manager and Director to work closely with Director in providing direct services to students such as de-escalation, and anger management. •Assist Milieu Manager and Director to implement crisis intervention/ prevention strategies. •Assist Milieu Manager and Director to maintain Pathways' Incident Report Log. •Assist Milieu Manager and Director in doing classroom observation as requested by teachers as part of behavior management. •Perform other duties as requested by Director including coverage for other CNS personnel. Qualifications: •BA or BS preferred, experience working with children and/or adolescents, strong skillset for working with children and adolescents with challenging behavior. •Flexibility, Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
