The BCBA will be responsible for designing and implementing behavior intervention plans, providing supervision and training to behavior technicians, and working closely with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure the highest quality of care. Key Responsibilities: Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and analyze data to develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for clients. Intervention and Treatment: Design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans to address a variety of behaviors, including communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors. Supervision: Provide supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff, ensuring the proper implementation of behavior plans. Collaboration: Work closely with families, educators, and other professionals to create a supportive environment that promotes the generalization of skills across settings. Data Collection and Analysis: Oversee data collection processes, analyze data regularly, and make necessary adjustments to intervention plans based on data-driven insights. Compliance: Ensure all services provided are in compliance with ethical standards and state regulations, maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of services. Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research and best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA) by participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Certification: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Education: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BCBA, preferably in a clinical or educational setting. Skills: Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team. Proficient in data collection, analysis, and the use of ABA software.
