Each member of the organization plays a part in achieving these goals. School-based staff members will work towards 2 or 3 metrics aligned to their individual roles AND the Big 5. These metrics vary by position and are subject to change for the 2022-2023 school year. You will be held accountable for some of these goals in your role.

The Teaching, Learning, and Academic Programming team leads the network's academic functions and is accountable to the CEO for academic student outcomes. The TLAP portfolio of teams includes the Elementary and Secondary Teaching and Learning team and the Academic Programming team.

The Role

Reporting to the Special Assistant to the CEO/Managing Director of Academic Programming, the Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the tracking and reporting of academic data in our academic programming offerings, creating curriculum support documents, tracking and supporting event logistics for professional development events, identifying and synthesizing core curriculum facets, and creating and disseminating communication to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordination and Support: Assist in the planning and execution of academic programs, initiatives, and events. Ensure seamless communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Data Management: Collect, analyze, and report on academic performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Support the team in implementing data-driven strategies.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between the academics team, school leaders, and external partners. Prepare and distribute updates, reports, and communications to keep all parties informed.
  • Resource Development: Help create and organize resources, materials, and professional development opportunities for educators across the network.
  • Project Management: Assist in managing academic projects from inception to completion, including tracking progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Support Professional Development: Coordinate logistics for training sessions and workshops, including scheduling, materials preparation, and participant communication.

Experience

For this Coordinator position, we seek candidates with a set of professional experiences that align with the core competencies and responsibilities of the role. While a Bachelor's degree is not a prerequisite, relevant experiences demonstrating the ability to perform the job effectively are essential.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within the Teaching, Learning, and Academic Programming team and the employee experience. Ideal candidates will have experience in the following areas:
  • Project Management Experience: Practical experience managing projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects. This includes coordinating tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring project goals are met with high-quality outcomes.
  • Administrative Support: Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support to teams, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling logistics with a high degree of professionalism and efficiency.
  • Event Management and Planning: Experience organizing and managing events, particularly setting up spaces for employee learning and engagement initiatives. This includes venue selection, layout planning, vendor coordination, and on-the-day event management to ensure events run smoothly and effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: A track record of successfully engaging with various stakeholders, including team members, school leaders, external vendors, and participants in learning programs. The ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Operational Support: Experience in contributing to the operational efficiency of a team or organization, demonstrating an understanding of processes and systems that enhance productivity and effectiveness.

Compensation

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. RMP offers competitive employee benefits and paid time off. The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000.

This position is based in Denver, CO, and is hybrid (work from home and office). Due to the nature of the work—i.e., people's work requires flexibility to meet the needs of our people—anticipate working both traditional and non-traditional work hours.
