ROLE SNAPSHOT & IMPACT
This role reports to the Principal at Lanier Elementary, part of the Redesign Public Schools network
RSL’s unique balanced academic calendar, spanning from July to June, thoughtfully incorporates a monthly 3-5 day break for students and staff. This intentional scheduling enables us to best serve students and the well-being of our dedicated staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Curriculum Implementation and Collaboration (40%)
Implement LDOE Tier 1 Curriculum in coordination with classroom teachers.
Develop effective lesson plans and internalization strategies.
Facilitate push-in services during lessons, including co-teaching and small group instruction.
Collaborate with school staff to determine student needs and interventions.
Targeted Instruction and Progress Tracking (35%)
Provide pull-out pre-teaching sessions to support students' readiness for daily lessons.
Utilize research-based strategies to enhance student competencies and skills.
Deliver small group instruction tailored to individual student needs.
Administer pre- and post-assessments to gauge academic growth and track weekly progress.
Data Analysis and Professional Collaboration (25%)
Evaluate student progress through data analysis and assessment results.
Collaborate with curriculum specialists and administrators to guide interventions.
Attend Literacy Site Council, SBLC, and intervention team meetings.
Develop and maintain accurate data collection procedures for student achievement enhancement.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, required.
Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate, required.
At least three years of classroom teaching experience in a core content, with stellar record of results. .
Proficiency in scientific-based research and evidence-based teaching practices.
Effective cross-cultural communication skills.
Strong organization, time management, and collaborative teamwork abilities.
Adaptability to feedback and directions from supervisors.
Proficiency in written communication, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
