Salary: $40,000 Compensation for full-time employees includes a 403(b) plan with up to a 10% match of salary and other competitive benefits offerings. Start Date: August 2025 Reports to: Director of Teacher Training and Educator Development Job Summary: BB&N is seeking full-time Education Fellows for the 2025-2026 academic year as part of BB&N's Knight Corps cohort. Education Fellows are recent or soon-to-be college graduates who are interested in a career in education or other school-based roles. Education Fellows have an opportunity to observe BB&N's best teaching practices and learn from experienced faculty and administrators and provide a wide range of support throughout various areas of the school. Through participation in Knight Corps cohort and mentoring meetings, there will be ample opportunities to gain the exposure necessary to evaluate a career either in teaching and learning or in other school-based roles. This is a one-year position with potential consideration for a second-year extension.

Essential Functions and Key Objectives: All Education Fellows will be required to attend Knight Corps cohort and mentor meetings/seminars as scheduled, attend Faculty Professional Development Days, support BB&N's mission, perform substitute teaching, arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, and other support duties as assigned, and ensure the safety and well-being of all students. In past years, Education Fellows have served in a variety of roles, including: The Admissions Fellow has supported the admissions process, outreach to prospective families, interviewing, and touring. The Advancement/Development Fellow has supported event planning, donor outreach, and constituent engagement. The Athletics Fellow has assisted with coordination and administration of the athletic program, including coaching a number of team sports. The Campus Fellow has worked directly with students and teachers on the Lower, Middle or Upper School campus. The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Global Education Fellow has supported programming aimed at uplifting BB&N's DEIG commitments. The Operations Fellow has supported efforts around auxiliary program planning and technology integration. The Student Support Fellow has worked directly with students and teachers, particularly with students receiving academic support. The Teaching and Learning Fellow has supported efforts around institutional research, innovation, and professional learning/development. Each year, BB&N allocates Fellows based on institutional priorities and candidate interests.
