Job Type Description
The successful applicant will work with special education and students with autism in accordance with their IEP. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Salary Schedule
Berkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon degree level and verified years of experience. 200-day employment term.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a qualified and effective candidate for the vacancy.

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and hold or be eligible for West Virginia licensure with endorsement(s) in Autism or special education certification that covers Autism, and Multi-Categorical Special Education with appropriate grade levels.

ABA trained is preferred but the successful applicant will be provided ABA training if needed.

Additional Job Information
If a certified candidate is unavailable for this position, then an applicant who is eligible for a first-class permit, alternative certification, Teacher-in-Residence, or a perm sub can be considered.
