Job Description
Day-to-day coordination and management of business operational activities. Monitor, control and manage business operations to meet community and campus goals. Liaise between customer and management to ensure smooth operations delivery. Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinates events, programs, and services for a campus or department.
2. Participates in various financial activities.
3. Develops and implements marketing activities, recruiting plans, training, and mentoring programs, to
include campus, district, and community resources to increase parental participation.
4. Coordinates application process to include review, selection, and notification.
5. Designs and implements campus family engagement activities.
6. Creates reports, analyzes data, and tracks progress of projects and programs.
7. Works with other staff members to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to
district requirements.
8. Provides families and students with information on programs and services available to them.
9. Serves as liaison with various departments and agencies.
10. Manages software systems and provide technical support.
11. Responsible for the organization, implementation, verification, collection, and distribution of materials for
programs, assessments, or events.
12. Fosters an ongoing partnership between the home, school and community.
13. Serves as a resource person to campus principals and teachers to meet the instructional needs of
students.
14. Coordinates with Administrators regularly to ensure smooth operations, identify needs, and facilitate flow of information.
15. Perform other coordinator related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or 4 years equivalent experience
• 5+ years of progressive experience
• Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $50.00) paid by the employee.
Preferred Requirements
• Master's degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid Texas Teacher certification Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Demonstrate a high level of personal integrity, a collaborative leadership style and high ethical standards.
• Develops and maintains effective and positive relationships with staff, students and families.
• Comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies for staff, including daily attendance, punctuality and confidentiality.
• Comply with the Texas Educators' Code of Ethics Working Conditions Work Environment:
• Computer, computer software programs and peripherals, teacher resource materials and equipment, copier, fax, and other equipment applicable to position.
• Frequent exposure to: temperature extremes (hot and cold), humidity extremes, noise. Occasional exposure to: biological hazards (communicable diseases, bacteria, insects, mold, fungi, etc.
Physical Demands/Requirements:
• Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions/deadlines; frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, pulling and pushing; reaching, repetitive hand motions, hearing, speaking clearly, visual acuity and prolonged data input; occasional lift/carry light, moderate 15-44 pounds.
