Job Summary: The successful candidate will have a strong conceptual understanding of teaching ELA and a demonstrated skill in interpreting student performance data and creating student action plans. An understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Understanding by Design (UbD) principles is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will create lessons and assessments aligned to standards-based reporting. Classroom teaching will incorporate whole group, small group, and individual instructional practices, and will implement technology according to best practices. Applying a growth mindset mentality for student success is a key attribute, along with flexible thinking skills and emotional intelligence.
Qualifications: State of NH Certification is required as outlined by the New Hampshire Department of Education.
Salary & Benefits: Per the WEA Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Windham Education Association.
