As a member of our Faculty team, you will plan, organize, develop, and conduct comprehensive lesson plans or instructional programs and develop strong partnerships with parents. You are someone who can tackle even the most challenging assignments with determination and humor. Your aim is to bring about the best possible outcome for your students.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to:
Teach students in grades 5 - 8 integrated science and math in collaboration with our middle school English, Social Studies, Latin and Music Faculty
Teach classes of up to 15 students in multi-age groupings.
Collaborate in the design and implementation of our integrated classical curriculum.
Job Requirements
-B.A./B.S. degree or an equivalent degree or educational qualification from an accredited college or university; advanced degree preferred.
-Full-time teaching experience in K-8 public or independent schools beyond student teaching. Minimum of four years of experience preferred. We make exceptions for candidates in ACE or similar programs.
-Proficiency in subject matter and grade-level-specific training and instruction
-Demonstrated knowledge in teaching principles, theories, methods, and classroom management.
-Willingness to contribute to after school programming in areas related to STEM field (e.g., stock market club, chess, robotics, makerspace, etc.)
