Job Description

Summary
Notre Dame Academy, a college preparatory 7-12 school sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and located in Hingham, is seeking a Director of Alumnae Engagement and Special Events (Director) to join the Advancement team. The Director will lead and implement a comprehensive engagement and special events program that effectively cultivates alumnae and parents. The Director will manage the logistical planning of special Advancement events intended to draw alumnae, parents, and friends of the School. This role will build the strategy and framework for the School-wide alumnae communications cycle with the implementation supported by the communications team. A successful candidate will be highly strategic, planful, and nimble as it pertains to recalibrating when necessary as we innovate within Advancement planning and programs.

Essential Job Functions::
•Produce, manage, and lead special events designed to engage alumnae from multiple generations and parents, including
oGolden Alumnae Luncheon
oFideles Society Reception
oReunion
oMedallion Gala (or other signature fundraising event)
oScholarship Brunch
•Serve as key advancement liaison to the Parent League
•Build and manage alumnae and parent engagement planning and implementation
•Build and implement framework for alumnae communication cycle (magazine/newsletter) - supported by communications
•Conceptualize communications targeting alumnae and parents including compilation and production of a quarterly alumnae e-newsletter and updating the alumnae sections of the NDA website, executing in collaboration with communications team
•In partnership with CAO, serve as key Advancement liaison to Billiart Leadership Institute to identify strategic alumnae partnerships
•Identify, cultivate, and engage potential volunteer leaders for NDA, including candidates for the Alumnae Association Board, class agents, and other alumnae programs
•Engage graduating seniors in efforts around Senior Class Gift participation and prepare them for their role as alumnae

•Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments to achieve goals

Schedule Requirements
•Some evening and weekend work and travel required.

Education and Experience Requirements
•Bachelors degree
•3+ years of event planning experience
•5-7 years of experience in alumnae/i and/or parent relations
•Proven success in planning of large- and small-scale event logistics
