Position Title: Adult ESL Program
Location: Bedford High School
Program Dates: September 11, 2025 through May 7, 2026 (14 week semesters)
Compensation: $55.00/hour

Description:
Pay:
The stipend for each semester is $3,080.00 at a rate of $55.00 per hour. (2 hours prep and 2 hours teaching each week).
QUALIFICATIONS:
DESE Teaching License and/or TESOL certification
Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check (C.O.R.I)
Successful completion of a SORI Check
Successful completion of National Background check (fingerprinting)

Description:
- Bedford Adult ESL teachers instruct either Beginning, Intermediate, or Advanced ESL classes to adults.
- Teachers are expected to develop a syllabus which includes listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English. There are existing syllabi and materials for use in the program.
- The classes will be held at BHS on Thursday evenings and run from 6:00-8:00 PM.
