Job Description Speech/Language PathologistPart-time (up to 4 hours/day) School Year 2025-2026Assignments and Locations to be determinedThe Montgomery County School Board in Virginia is now accepting applications for part-time (up to four hours per day) speech/language pathologist positions that are available within our division for the 2025 - 2026 school year.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:- Hold a master's degree in Speech/Language, Speech Pathology, or Communication Disorder
- Hold or be eligible for an active license with a valid endorsement in speech language pathology issued by the Board of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP)
- Possess a professional understanding of speech/language disorders
- Possess thorough knowledge and ability to administer appropriate speech/language tests and support materials
- Demonstrate ability to support students by cooperatively working with parents/guardians and teachers
- Utilize Google Drive for instructional purposes, collaboration, and managing coursework
- Create and maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment that respects the diverse backgrounds and needs of all students
- Communicate effectively with strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to a positive team environment
- Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and reliability in fulfilling responsibilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Have experience working with students with disabilities in preschool through high school
- Have experience delivering speech therapy services within an inclusive environment
FLSA: Exempt
SALARY: $43.33 - $60.25 per hour; commensurate with experience
