Welcome to ATX Learning
An exciting opportunity is available for you. Think about all the things you like about working in education and all the things in education that tend to get in the way. Positions are available in a setting that probably doesn't have all those things that get in the way. North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections maintains four focused school units across the state serving young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 who happen to be offenders in the North Carolina Prison System. The faculty and staff in these units assist student offenders in furthering their educations, potentially attaining their high school equivalency certificates, as well as opportunities to participate in vocational and post-secondary training and degrees. By and large, our students are actually interested in learning, are excited by the opportunity to fill learning gaps they have, and to learn things they didn't think they were able to during their tenure in our public school systems. Also, there are no before or after school duties, no receipt books, no dances, no field trips... the list goes on. If we have piqued your interest, please visit our active job postings to learn more about these opportunities and to submit your application. We hope to see your application soon.
