Position:
  • Industrial Technology Teacher (Industry 4.0)
Location:
  • Brookfield High School
Education and Experience:
  • Valid Ohio Teaching License 7-12.
  • Experience with coordinating and/or overseeing programs.
  • Experience in STEM, technology, manufacturing, trades, vocational programs (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attendance.
  • Effective classroom management.
  • Effective leadership skills.
  • Program marketing skills (desirable.)
  • Knowledge of industry-recognized credentials, preferred.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Essential Functions:
  • Understanding industry-recognized credentials.
  • Planning career-related learning experiences.
  • Providing clear explanations of the need to explore academic and career pathway options to students/parents.
  • Securing job-shadowing experiences.
  • Creating effective documentation system.
  • Building and fostering relationships with local businesse.
  • Increase business & industry linkages - serve as liaison to business and industry, trade unions,and associations, professional organizations, and government agencies.
  • Work cooperatively with staff, students, parents, business and industry, college reps and the community.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Comply with Board of Education policy and supervisory/administrative directives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • This position reports directly to the High School Principal.
Compensation:
  • As per negotiated contract.
