Physical Therapist - Part-Time
May Center School, Mansfield, MA

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with Autism and developmental disabilities. As a Part-Time Physical Therapist, you'll work alongside a dedicated team to enhance students' independence and functional skills through targeted therapy and innovative interventions.

Your Role:
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized goals to support student progress.
• Design and implement functional activities that address students' occupational therapy needs.
• Provide consultation and training to classroom staff, ensuring effective strategies are used daily.
• Offer direct therapy services when needed, applying evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to IEP evaluations and ongoing student support.

What You Need:
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensure: Valid MA Physical Therapy license.
• Skills: Strong multitasking, collaboration, and initiative.
• Qualities: Passion for student progress and teamwork.

Compensation

Our May Center Schools for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Massachusetts offer full-day, year-round educational services to children and adolescents. Our schools focus on building communication, social, behavioral, vocational, and academic skills. We base our programs on applied behavior analysis, or ABA, which has been shown through hundreds of scientific studies to be the most effective method to teach children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities.
