EMIT Learning is hiring an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to work on our school campus in Shaker Heights, OH, for the Current school year.
Position Details
- Number of Positions: 3
- Location: Shaker Heights, OH
- Age Group: Elementary / Middle / High School
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 2026 (Possible extension)
- Total Hours: 35-40 hours per week (includes 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Job Type: Full-time, Contract
- Work Location: In person
Required License / Certification
- CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
Key Duties
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric patients via telehealth platforms.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including early intervention strategies.
- Deliver engaging and effective speech therapy sessions through virtual means, utilizing appropriate technology and tools.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches accordingly.
- Maintain detailed documentation of sessions, assessments, and progress notes in compliance with clinical standards.
Experience & Qualifications
- Prior school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is highly desirable.
- Experience in pediatrics and early intervention programs is preferred.
- Proven background in speech therapy, including patient assessment and treatment planning.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy related to speech and language disorders.
