Requirements:
Requires an Ed.S. or Master's + 30 or specialist degree in school psychology supplemented by three to four years of experience as a school psychologist, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess state certification in school psychology; certification by the National Association of School Psychologists, National Board of Certified Counselors and/or Professional Board of Examiners is desirable. Must possess a valid state driver's license.
Description:
Under limited supervision, provides a wide range of services to promote mental health, emotional / behavioral functioning, and educational progress for all students with and without disabilities; coordinates and consults with teachers, placement chairs, 504 chairs and Student Assistance Team chairpersons to design interventions, develop appropriate instructional goals and objectives, accommodations and modifications; performs related professional and administrative duties as required. Reports to the Director of Special Services.
