Kennett Consolidated School District is seeking a dynamic teacher who will nurture, prepare, and empower ALL students and staff to succeed in their academic, social, and emotional journey. A teacher who exhibits a belief in the importance of relationships and resiliency through a student-centered approach will be able to successfully support the district's mission and vision.
Kennett's uniquely diverse student population makes applicants considered to be fluent or bilingual highly sought. Applicants with at least three (3) Spanish courses at the college/university level or who have a command of conversational Spanish are encouraged to apply.
POSITION TITLE: 5th grade teacher
REPORTS TO: Principal
QUALIFICATIONS: Active and Valid PA Certification K-6 elementary or PK-4; Must have Act 34, Act 114 and Act 151 clearances that are within one year of hire.
Excellent medical benefits, state pension, and tuition reimbursement.
KCSD believes in its programs and wants its employees to believe in them as well. KCSD employees are permitted to have their children attend our schools regardless of residency in another district or state.
District has the right to screen, interview, and hire candidates prior to the closing date of the posting.
Minimum salary listed below. Salary based on Education Level and years of experience.
