Modifying and teaching academic curriculum to students on the Autism Spectrum students grade 3-5
Providing instruction in all academic subjects according to school curriculum.
Modifying and developing daily curriculum based on techniques required for individual learning styles in alignment with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
Facilitating inclusion opportunities for students within the larger school community.
Working with parents, administrators, related service staff, and other professionals to develop and implement individual Education plans for each student.
Leading a classroom with multiple teaching assistants.
Administering assessments and writing and presenting evaluation reports in Team meetings.
Attending professional meetings, educational conferences, and training workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence.
Completing report cards and progress reports on each student's progress.

- Licensed by Massachusetts DESE as an educator of students with disabilities.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Master degree preferred
