Boodkeeper/Administrative Assistant Position

General Statement of Duties
The position works closely with the principal and associate principal to manage the business, finance and accounting functions for the school. This person must be able to communicate clearly, have a good demeanor and be comfortable interacting with various individuals and groups. This person will also interact with the school's finance committee on a regular basis.

This position is scheduled for 20 hours per week and must be performed during the hours of 8am - 3pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

This is a part time position therefore, health benefits will not be provided, however, other benefits may apply.

Essential Functions of the Job
Assist with Tuition/Accounts Receivable:
Review and reconcile tuition contracts
Daily email/phone correspondence with parents
Work with principal to ensure collection of all accounts receivable
Maintain Financial Aid/Scholarship award in FACTS database

Assist with Accounts Payable:
Email/phone correspondence with vendors
Review invoices for accuracy and approval
Ensure invoices are classified to appropriate account
Maintain W9s for independent contracts

Assist with Free and Reduced Lunch Program
Review lunch applications
Submit lunch claims monthly
Annual food service agreement

Facility Projects and Personnel:
Assess and relay daily needs of the facility and staff
Knowledge of building and department needs compared to budget
Work with Principal and Associate Principal regarding daily needs of the day to day operations

Software Experience:
Must be fluent in spreadsheets, word documents and power points
Experience working with financial software, QuickBooks and Acumatica a plus
