This role is responsible for accurate and expedient processing and reconciliation of payroll. This position includes processing and maintaining payroll records within ADP as well electronic employee records, generating reports utilizing ADP and conducting audits on a variety of functions. Additionally, this essential team member must demonstrate a positive and caring attitude and must remain flexible and adaptable in order to meet department needs.
•Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
•3 years of experience with ADP payroll, including collecting, calculating, entering data, and full cycle payroll processing.
•Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles and departments transfers.
•Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
•Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
•Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
•Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
•Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
•Works closely with payroll personnel and finance personnel in maintaining accurate data in ADP regarding new hires, staff changes, terminations, benefits, and deductions.
•Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel.
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data.
•Superior verbal/written skills, presentation skills, punctuation, spelling, grammar and attention to detail a must.
•Strong interpersonal skills essential and contributions to team effort by accomplishing related results.
•Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
•Bachelor's degree preferred or combination of education and experience preferred.
