MISSION: The Texas Education Agency (TEA) will improve outcomes for all public-school students in the state by providing leadership, guidance, and support to school systems.
POSITION OVERVIEW: This position serves as director of the Scoring and Reporting unit in the Performance Reporting Division reporting to the Director of Accountability and Reporting. The role is responsible for directing scoring, reporting, quality control, and analysis of student performance data for the state assessment program which is critical to improving outcomes for students by providing accurate performance data to students and school districts. This position works under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience: At least (5) years of experience in managing and directing projects in planning, research, education, assessment, or a related field and/or in the analysis, design, and implementation of complex computer systems using the SAS programming language.
Substitutions: An advanced degree may substitute for two years of required experience.
