The primary purpose of this position is to assist with procurement of goods and services to meet the needs of KIPP Texas, Inc. dba KIPP Texas Public Schools. Under general supervision, the Procurement Systems Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the configuration and maintenance of our procurement systems used to procure materials, services, and supplies. The Procurement Systems Specialist will help to solve system-processing issues, stay current on software and hardware advancements and updates, and assisting end-users, as needed, to utilize the system compliantly.
This position will be primarily responsible for the administration of the statewide electronic procurement system (Jaggaer/SciQuest platform).
The Procurement Systems Specialist will:
1. Assist with procurement of products and services
2. Help to improve the effectiveness of the KIPP purchasing process via KIPPeMart, KIPP’s electronic procurement software system
3. Manage contract documentation via the electronic procurement system
4. Perform other job-related duties as assigned
