DCS is looking for an experienced training developer to assist in the creation of programs of instruction and other material for training personnel in the use and maintenance of vehicle mounted Army equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
The Training Developer will ensure the integrity of task analysis, training requirements, training hierarchies, instruction materials, and evaluation plans.
Develop and deliver training to include: Basic platform slide presentations, Training aids such as pocket guides and checklists, and computer- and web-based training (CBT/WBT) as part of a comprehensive Program of Instruction (POI).
Coordinate development and delivery of training with project and system SMEs, government/customer representatives, as well as members of military units receiving the training.
Modify and update training materials as system hardware and software are changed and enhanced, and ensure updated materials are peer reviewed for content and conformance to Army standards.
Develop and implement course, instructor, and system evaluations that can be collated and analyzed for training effectiveness, usability, and quality control relative to the target audiences (system users/maintainers).
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship and a Secret clearance is required.
Bachelors degree plus 8 years of experience with curriculum development.
Experience with US Army Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
Knowledge of US Army training development standards.
Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness.
Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form, research, develop, present, and promote projects, work independently, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
