This position is funded through September 30, 2023 with federal stimulus funds. Continuation of the position beyond that date is contingent upon available funding. The Manager of Instructional Leadership Design will lead the design of high-quality training and resources to support the use of the Effective District Framework as a tool to support districts in identifying areas for continuous improvement and will support the design of complimentary tools and processes that other divisions, departments, and initiatives at TEA identify for alignment to the EDF and to TIL. The Manager of Instructional Leadership Design will also support deeper integration of research-based instructional strategies in TIL by building out resources and tools to support the implementation of TIL practices that support content-specific differentiation across the state. This position works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The Manager of Instructional Leadership Design reports to the Director of Instructional Leadership.
