POSITION OVERVIEW: The Staff Services Officer for School Finance performs a variety of complex administrative services work for the Department of School Finance and the Chief School Finance Officer (CSFO). The Staff Services Officer will be responsible for coordinating all administrative and business operations for the School Finance department, including budget management, records management, personnel actions, contract management, website administration, calendar management, scheduling, and coordination with governmental agencies, executives, and organizations on behalf of the CSFO. This position may assign and/or supervise the work of others and is expected to act with a high degree initiative and independent judgement. This position will report to the Associate Commissioner and Chief School Finance Officer.

Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in administrative operations management and executive support. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) required.
Substitutions: Each additional year of related experience above the required minimum may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis
