Who We're Seeking

The Dean of Culture (DoC) at The Noble Academy is directly responsible for ensuring that our school has a culture and multi-tiered support systems that lead to the provision of an optimal learning environment for students as demonstrated by our Noble Culture Audit and promotion rates. This is accomplished by leading a culture team of members dedicated to ensuring that all expectations are clear and met in all spaces in the school building and surrounding area. Additionally, it is accomplished by ensuring meaningful student experiences through restorative detention experiences, re-entry family meetings, and student mediations. The DoC is a member of the Administrative Team and Multi-Tiered Student Support Team and is responsible for detentions, suspensions, and school-wide culture support and interventions.

Roles and Responsibilities

The DoC works collaboratively with the Administration around discipline promotion criteria and school culture, both positive and corrective. The DoC will have the autonomy to think creatively about how to achieve goals and will be held accountable to results through management by iteration.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating and maintaining a school-wide 9th-12th Grade discipline promotion tracker
  • Participating in weekly MTSS meetings and providing relevant data
  • Sharing school-wide promotion tracker with pre-identified trends and areas of focus at a bi-weekly cadence with Principal
  • Working with Administration to determine responses to data when analyzing progress-to-goals for grades, discipline, attendance, CS, enrichment, and PE
  • Managing a Culture Team that is responsible for all common area student culture, detention sessions, and re-entry meetings.
  • Creating processes to own the execution of Culture sessions over summer and possibly second semester
