Job Description

Reporting to the Learning Development & Evaluations Director, the Impact Analytics Manager is responsible for the data coordination, collection, and analysis related to the Whole School, Whole Child (WSWC) program. The Impact Analytics Manager will serve as the site evaluation point and support the collection and analysis of student-level data. The Impact Analytics Manager will oversee the site’s Student Progress Monitoring, to help inform training and support for AmeriCorps members, Impact Managers, and other staff and will work with the Impact Directors to develop the site’s overall strategy for learning and development, through thoughtful and timely data analysis and progress monitoring.


Detailed responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 
 
Program Evaluation and Progress Monitoring 

  • In partnership with the Impact Managers, monitor student-level progress and performance data (e.g., academic assessment scores, course grades, behavior incidents, daily attendance) 

  • Create and produce analytic tools, including weekly and monthly reports for each team, that support effective service implementation and evaluate programs and performance 

  • Provide individualized tools and processes as needed to AmeriCorps Members, Impact Managers, Impact Leadership, and others that strengthen service implementation and effectively monitor progress 

Data and Systems Management 

  • Monitor data access, and maintain cyschoolhouse (Salesforce), City Year’s internal data management system 

  • Identify and facilitate necessary trainings for staff and AmeriCorps members on cyschoolhouse, Power BI, Excel, and other systems used in data collection and analysis  

  • Provide ongoing coaching on impact outputs, data entry, and data usage 

  • Manage and support Impact staff through all aspects of online survey distribution, administration, collection, and analysis 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners that support timely data collections and robust analysis 

Data Analysis and Reporting for External Parties 

  • Analyze school and site-wide data  

  • Draft all external and internal reports, including but not limited to Tulsa Public Schools, Oklahoma AmeriCorps, and other private funders 

  • Work with other departments to refine systems and policies to improve data collection, integrity, and dissemination of information   

  • Work with Tulsa Public Schools to submit student and school level data requests as needed and to report back with data reflecting City Year’s impact in Tulsa schools 

  • Work with external partners to assess City Year’s impact 

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a related position 

  • Experience using Salesforce and Power BI systems  

  • Demonstrated performance under pressure and strict deadlines. 

  • Proficient in data management and data analysis techniques (experience managing large databases preferred) 

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data to inform programmatic changes and improvements 

  • Strong group facilitation and presentation skills 

  • Knowledge of the Common Core Standards 

  • Knowledge of standards-based curriculum and instruction 

  • Strong commitment to and experience developing a diverse and inclusive workforce and working effectively with people with different work styles and backgrounds 

  • Excellent problem solving skills 

  • Ability to work with and interact with multiple, diverse stakeholders 

  • Able to execute on goals within flexible and changing environments
