The Compliance Coordinator will have a critical role in supporting Green Dot's mission across all regions to prepare students for college, leadership and life. The Compliance Coordinator will support the Director of Public Programs and Authorizer Relations and the Public Programs and Authorizer Relations Manager to provide high quality services to uphold mandatory compliance in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to publicly funded state and federal programs and authorizer oversight requirements. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, analytical, detail-oriented individual with a passion for education.

Assist in the document collection and submission of federal, state, county and authorizer compliance requirements across all Green Dot regions

Support schools with authorizer oversight visits, including compilation of materials and coordination of day-of operations

Assist in the development, preparation and document collection for new and renewal charter petitions across all regions

Assist in the timely completion of federal and state level government program reports, such as Local Control Accountability Plans, Federal Funding Plans, Annual School Reports and other comprehensive reports as required

Support the development, preparation and document collection of applications for District facilities

Maintain and organize internal and external records for current and historical reference and use

Help implement new systems and processes or surface 'continual improvement' projects that streamline organizational efficiency and promote excellence in service

Attend relevant authorizer, county, and state compliance meetings or webinars and support the codification of new compliance requirements as they surface

Support regional leaders by maintaining accurate records of compliance materials

Perform other duties as identified in order to meet departmental goals and objectives

This job operates in a professional office environment, is largely sedentary, and utilizes typical office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.). Normal business hours are 7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday-Friday (although these hours may vary and may require occasional evening and weekend work based on organizational needs). Minimal or no travel required, other than visits to local school sites (as needed).

You have excellent organizational skills - strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines

You have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to coordinate multiple work streams

You can show demonstrated proficiency in writing and strong communications skills

You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office with exceptional skills in PowerPoint and Excel

You are comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

You have a strong sense of integrity, ethics, and drive to achieve and grow

You possess a relentless commitment to high quality execution and follow-through

You enjoy taking initiative on new projects, with an ability to problem-solve complex questions, and identify creative solutions

In addition, the following standards will generally define the successful candidate:

Bachelor's degree from a university

Minimum of 2 years work experience required

The hourly rate for this position is between $20.00 - 25.00 per hour and considers the individual's relevant experience and skill-set.
